Vina Bujanda spreads on 120 hectares divided into plots on the Rioja Alavesa and the Rioja Alta and on an important farm near the Logrofio . The vines sit on a soil of clay-limestone and ferrous-clay. The average age of the vines is between 20 and 60 years old.
  • Vinification and maturation
Harvesting takes place the third week of September. Fermentation is done in stainless steel vats under controlled temperatures with 12 days of maceration. Aging continues for 12 months in 70% American and 30% French oak barrels.
  • Features
Vivid purple red glimmers of fine density. The nose is dominated by blackberries and spicy notes with hints of balsamic leading to a nice complex finish. The palate has a silky and dense attack of ripe and voluminous fruits. This wine has a nice structure with nicely pronounced tannins and a long finish. The ripe Tempranillo in all its splendour!
  • Food Pairings
