Vinification and maturation
Spicebox was inspired by crafty Canadian entrepreneurs who smuggled contraband cargo across the border in wooden barrels marked “SPICES”. They knew it was the perfect camouflage and that the aromatic spices would infuse the whisky with delicious flavours, creating something extraordinary.
This top-notch whisky aged in bourbon barrels from 3 to 6 years. The cold extraction process used ensures pure, beautiful flavours of spices, which makes this good stuff smooth and inviting.
The leftover cocoa husks would infuse the smooth rye with rich, warm chocolate flavours.
