  • Terroir
    The Chenin Blanc is harvested from a single vineyard on the Biodynamic farm Reyneke, located in the Polkadraai Hills to the west of Stellenbosch. The vineyards are the oldest on the farm being in excess of 50 years old and are located on a combination of decomposed granitic loam on a clay sub-soil.
  • Vinification and maturation
    The grapes were bunch sorted and de-stemmed and naturally fermented, 80 % in stainless steel and 20 % matured in seasoned oak barrels. After 5 months further ageing on the lees, the wine was bottled.
  • Features
    Aromatic and inviting, its bouquet calls to mind honeyed, lacteous and toasted notes. The mouth is just as expressive, lively and beautifully balanced. A great value from for a chenin blanc !

    The wine pairs well with Asian cuisine, pork dishes and trout.
