Terroir
Barbaresco Palas comes from southeast-facing vineyards in Treiso at an average altitude of 250 m.
The soil is composed of clayey-calcareous marl with a good presence of silt and sand.

Vinification and maturation
Alcoholic fermentation lasts about 10 days in contact with the skins and, after malolactic fermentation, it matures for one year in large oak barrels, then aged in the bottle for at least 6 months prior to shipment.

Garnet red color with light orange reflections.
Complex and delicate aroma, ethereal with evident notes of small red fruits, green peppercorn and fine spices.
Its taste is wide-ranging as much as aristocratic, in an excellent harmony; there is a pleasant silky fabric of fine tannins. Remarkable for its length.
Excellent for up to at least 15 years. -
