Our wines are produced in two wineries well equipped to collect the grapes from the different vineyards, both in blend, as in single lots, where the wines are vinified thanks to modern installations with the automatic temperature control during the fermentation process. The goal is to keep unchanged the primary aromas, exalting the original characteristic of the grapes and respecting, where necessary, the unmistakable imprint of each vineyard. In Tortona, on the other side, the wines are aged in large oak barrels or in barriques. Here, there is also the production of the «frizzanti» (semi-sparkling) wines, as well as the fully Sparkling wines. Since ever, the quality consistency and the technical consultancy are under the responsibility of the chief winemaker Giuliano Noè, whilst the choice and selection of the wines are responsabilty of Federico Ridolfo, young but capable winemaker of the Company.
Vinification and maturation
Every stage of the production is certified agrobiologique: vineyard, wine making, storage and traffic bottling. The domain assures «clean»agriculture, without using pesticides and of chemical substances in accordance with rulesestablished by the biological bodies. The grape harvest is manually made. Oenologists’ team is managed by Federico Riolfo. They will use only natural yeasts for the fermentation and bentonite as product of collage, then they will minimize the use of the sulfur dioxide.
Red dress intense ruby. An intense nose of dried fruits and dried flowers. The mouth presents tannins soft.
Ideal with braised roasts, red meats, poultry, or salty dishes.
Fruity style dry red with soft and easy-going tannins, nice balanced acidity. Well balanced and a great value every-day red.
