This wine comes from a clay soil with a gravelly subsoil. The yield per hectare is 8 tons. The average age of the vines is 12 to 15 years.
Vinification and maturation
During the vinification, a soft pressing is practiced at controlled temperature. The fermentation is done in French oak barrels. Aging of 3 months continues in barrels of 5.5 hl of French oak with medium heating. The wine is then refined for at least three months in bottles.
Yellow golden dress. This wine expresses a harmonious and persistent bouquet of spices and vanilla. The mouth recalls the nose with a harmony of aromas, a nice acidity and a long finish.
Ideal as an aperitif, or with fish, crustaceans and soft cheeses
