  • Terroir
    Pedernal Valley: 1350 m a.s.l. Drip irrigated with water arising from the Andes ‘melting glaciers. Vertical trellis. Coarse soil with very low water holding capacity. Mild climate, and a 20°C temperature range.
  • Vinification and maturation
    Manual harvesting and bulk transportation. Destemming. Fermentation with selected yeasts. Over pump and maceration for over 25 days. Pneumatic pressing. Natural malolatic fermentation. Auto-clarifying racking. Ageing of the wine in French and American oak for 12 months. Blending and filtration before bottling.

    The desert climate produces a soft, full bodied wine with ripe berries and plum flavours with an elegant touch of smoke and vanilla from its contact with wood.

    This wine is an ideal partner to roasted meat. Also great with pasta dishes with tomato sauce or ripe cheese.
