Gran Mascota Cabernet Sauvignon New at the SAQ
From selected vineyards located in Uco Valley at 1,050 meters above sea level. Clay soils, settled on boulders.
Vinification and maturation
Hand harvesting. Fermentation with wild yeasts and maceration in small concrete vats, during a minimum of 25 days at 25-27 °C. Natural malolactic fermentation. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Bottling ageing during 6 months.
Deep purple in color. This Cabernet Sauvignon presents aromas evoking dark fruits and black pepper. Full bodied in the palate and a lengthy pure finish.
Ideal to combine with red and game meats, stews and hard cheeses.
Put the wine in the fridge 30’ before serving.
