The Farnito Chardonnay comes from an estate of 2 hectares in the south of Florence, exploited on the hills between the Chianti and the valley of the Arno, at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level.
Vinification and maturation
Maceration is carried out at low temperature. The fermentation is done in oak barrels. In order to keep the yeasts and the solids in suspension, a constant stirring of the musts is carried out. After four months, the wine is clarified and returns to the same barrels where it will stay four months before being bottled. A refinement in bottles ensues before the wine is distributed.
Pale yellow color with golden reflections. Fruit and vanilla flavors. The bouquet is harmonious and persistent. On the palate, this wine is dry, silky, fine and pleasant.
Ideal for aperitif with fish, seafood and chicken.
