The Domaine du Vieux Lazaret is located at the foot of Mont-Ventoux. This terroir of 14 ha is a patchwork of sands, clays and gravel.
A quasi-total de-stemming is carried out. The fermentation is carried out for 15 to 21 days in concrete tanks with bi-daily reassembly. The 18-month-old breeding takes place in tanks and barrels.
Red dress with deep reflections. An expressive nose of red berries (raspberries, strawberries, cherries) and spices (nutmeg, pepper). The palate is tender and velvety. The wine is ample and well structured, it reveals a harmonious balance.
Ideal with red meats, dishes in sauces, a terrine of meat or cheeses. It is advisable to put it in carafe about 30 minutes before serving.
