Terroir Domaine Gournier is north of the line Nîmes - Avignon, within 10 km upstream of the Pont du Gard. The vines benefit from a unique situation due to the freshness that goes down the Cévennes and sticks on a basement primarily composed of clay and limestone. The plots are spread over 13 towns and the area has 3 production sites.
-
Vinification and maturation Each variety is vinified separately. Skin maceration, extraction of the must by means of pneumatic presses and cold settling, are practiced. The wine will then be refined in vats.
-
Features Under the strawberry pink colour, the medium and simple nose evokes spicy, floral and fruity notes. On the palate, it offers a slender mouthfeel that leads into a short finish. Enjoy this dry, light and fruity rosé featuring refreshing acidity.
-
Food Pairings Ideal as an aperitif or with cold meats, grilled fish, poultry and cheese.
