    In the olive and cypress-studded countryside between Florence and Siena lay the quaint hilltop villages of the Chianti Classico region. The wine of the same name is produced exclusively in this area.

  • Vinification and maturation
    Maceration of the skins in the must and fermentation at controlled low temperature.

    Aged in Slovenian and French oak for a minimum of one year.

    After bottling, the wine undergoes additional ageing for at least 10 months before release.

    To deliver the highest quality, Carpineto ages this wine longer than the 2 years required by appellation rules for a Riserva.
