Carpineto Chianti Classico
In the olive and cypress-studded countryside between Florence and Siena lay the quaint hilltop villages of the Chianti Classico region. The wine of the same name is produced exclusively in this area.
Vinification and maturation
Maceration of the skins in the must and fermentation at controlled low temperature.
Aged in Slovenian and French oak for a minimum of one year.
After bottling, the wine undergoes additional ageing for at least 10 months before release.
To deliver the highest quality, Carpineto ages this wine longer than the 2 years required by appellation rules for a Riserva.
Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Elegant, full, harmonious and persistent with suggestions of vanilla and raspberry. A long and velvety flavor, full, generous and warm.
Ideal with grilled or roasted red meats, game and strong cheese.
