Terroir

This wine comes from a clay-limestone soil. The average age of the vines is 10 years.

Vinification

Harvesting is done end of September beginning of October, selected per lot and done mechanically. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at 24°C with a long post-fermentation maceration. The aging will continue in stainless steel vats.

Features

Rich red color robe, purple with brown highlights. Delicious bouquet enhanced by ripe fruits and spices. Round and supple to the palate and quite classic.

Food Pairings

Ideal with games, beef, oven or grilled steaks, or strong cheese. Decanting one hour prior to serving is recommended.
