Terroir The grapes are sourced from Malmesbury and Wellington.

Vinification and maturation A fraction of the wine was fermented with naturally occurring yeasts, while selected Rhône yeast strains were used for the rest. After maceration, the wine was pressed and transferred to oak barrels for nine months, with a portion of the wine being micro-oxygenated. The wine was bottled after blending.

Features Deep red-violet. The powerful nose features notes of smoke, pepper and blackberry. In the mouth, the wine displays great freshness, supple tannins and well-integrated oak. The silky texture lasts well into the long finish.
