Vinification and maturation We optimise selected batches of grapes for colour, then take them back to the skins for alcoholic fermentation. Some of the grapes are pressed immediately and fermented in oak. This ensures the rich, dark coffee aromas that make Barista so distinctive. The remaining grapes are fermented conventionally on the skins and pumped over vigorously during the course of alcoholic fermentation, to be racked and pressed directly into French Oak for the completion of fermentation.
-
Features Intense, rich coffee and chocolate aromas with nuances of ripe mulberry, plum and Maraschino cherries. The sweet aroma of vanilla follows through on the palate and melds with the soft, luscious tannins. A wine ready to be enjoyed
-
Food Pairings Drink on its own or with red meat dishes or your favourite pizza
