Celler Vall Llach

“Precision, quality and the importance of the countryside”

Celler Vall Llach was founded in the early 90s. The wine estate is in Porrera, one of the nine towns that make up the DOC Priorat in the south of Catalonia. The vineyard is composed of small plots on steep hillsides which are called “trossos” and grow Carignan and Grenache. The environmental, sunlight and altitude conditions surrounding them are enviable. Their slopes are impressive, and don’t allow for mechanised work, which obligates winemakers to have an intimate and exclusive relationship with it. The winery’s first vintage was in 1998 and it reached the market at the end of 2000. Celler Vall Llach has set a limit on expansion of production and growth, in order to focus on the quality of its wine.
