Reporting to the Vice-President National Sales, the Sales Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the management of all business operations in the assigned region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 10 individuals across various business functions (Sales, Customer Marketing, Administration)
- Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics and operational plans for sales and distribution of products within the Univins Portfolio
- Lead the management of key customer relationships including the LCBO and other Regional Key Accounts
- Build strong presentations with category insights and analysis to help drive Univins business with prospective customers
- Build and execute an annual forecast and A&P budget plan for the Ontario Region
- Develop a highly performing sales team focused on execution
- Spend time in the field coaching and developing our employees
- Lead a customer marketing team focused on developing creative ideas to bring our brands to life in the market place
- Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly sales initiatives and targets.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization
- Manage Regional P&L, Commission, Revenue targets to ensure delivery of annual plan
Formation and experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
- Master’s degree in business administration is an asset.
- Ten (10) years of sales management experience in a CPG environment
- Experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry is an asset
- Experience managing relationships at the LCBO is an asset
