It was 1966 when Domenico Poggiali Fèlsina took the courageous leap and bought the estate at a time when Italian viticultore was struggling. He chose to invest in the quality of the wine and the expertise of a young team.

Fattoria di Fèlsina

The estate consists of 485 hectares of which 87 are dedicated to growing grapes. The vineyards of the Chianti Classico is 50 hectares and spreads out to 380 meters. Soils are sandy, rocky and clay. Founded in 1966 and now under the leadership of Giuseppe Mazzocolin, the Fattoria di Felsina produces several wines including Chianti Classico Berardenga and since 1983 the Chianti Classico Riserva and IGT Toscana Rancia Fontalloro.
